Abstract:
To provide a method for preventing or reducing the incidence in post-operation adhesions in or associated with a body cavity.
The method comprises use of a composition comprising an aqueous solution, a suspension or a gel preparation, which contains a polysaccharide dextrin having a specific range of polymerization degree. The composition contains ideally about 4 wt% of an effective ingredient and a suitable retention time of the composition is 2-3 days order per one dosage. The composition contains a lubricant such as a phospholipid, an antibiotic for preventing a bacterial infection and other medicines.
