To provide a dezincification apparatus which can surely remove zinc.
This dezincification apparatus includes: a preheating tank 10 which is provided with an input port for charging a zinc-plated scrap steel sheet and with a preheating chamber 12 for subjecting the charged scrap steel sheet to preliminary heating; a preheat tank 20 which is arranged in the lower part of the preheating tank 10 and is provided with a preheat chamber 22 that makes a heating coil 23 for preheating the preliminary heated scrap steel sheet wind around its outer circumference; a heating tank 30 which is arranged in the lower part of the preheat tank 20 and is provided with a heating chamber 32 that makes a heating coil 33 for fully heating a preheated scrap steel sheet wind around its outer circumference; a residual heat tank 40 which is arranged in the lower part of the heating tank 30 and is provided with a residual heat chamber 41 for staying the fully heated scrap steel sheet therein; dampers 13, 24 and 34 which seal and section each tank and also drop and transfer the scrap steel sheet to the heating chamber which is located in the next lower part; and an exhaust pipe 50 which is connected to the preheat tank 20, the heating tank 30 and the residual heat tank 40.
