Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for a cutting process having a long lifetime by preventing wear of a cutting tip, and to provide a cutting process method.SOLUTION: A die D for a cutting process includes a cutting tip 50, is applied to punch press, and cooperates with a punch P for a cutting process to perform a cutting process of a workpiece W. The die D includes a cooling mechanism 51 for cooling the cutting tip 50. The cooling mechanism 51 includes: a circumferential groove 54 disposed along the outer circumference of a die body 41 so as to supply air A from the outside; and an air hole 55 that communicates with the circumferential groove 54 and jets the air A toward the cutting tip 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
