Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-filled electric machinery diagnosing method eliminating the necessity separating extracted gas in oil into respective component gases to shorten a measuring time and requiring no skill in operation and easy to correspond in case of emergency and a portable diagnosing device therefor.
SOLUTION: Gas is extracted from the insulating oil 3 collected from oil-filled electric machinery 2 and the obstruction gas in the extracted gas is removed in the presence of a removing agent and the gas in oil is subsequently passed through a detection pipe 7 having predetermined length packed with a filler 6 containing a palladium potassium sulfite soln. and, on the basis of the correlation between the discoloration length of the filler 6 in the detection pipe and the amt. of acetylene gas contained in the gas in oil, the abnormality of the oil filled electric machinery is diagnosed.
