Abstract:
To provide an apparatus capable of accurately and speedily identifying a patient of osteoporosis, the apparatus being for supporting diagnosis based on an image acquired by a medical imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A diagnosis support apparatus 24 uses a chest simple X-ray photograph with a modality 10. Based on a photograph in which the presence of a vertebral fracture part is determined and a photograph in which the presence of the vertebral fracture part is not determined, the possibility of the presence of the vertebral fracture part is learned by machine learning. In a case where it is determined that there is the possibility of the presence of a fracture part in a vertebral area of the chest simple X-ray photograph, a display information giving unit 24a gives display information of a mode distinguishable from other areas to the area including the fracture part.
