Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis and treatment chair that make legs possible to be smoothly opened/closed without applying excessive load on the hip joint of a patient.
SOLUTION: The device is provided with a diagnosis and treatment chair main body 31 comprising a back plate part 35 and a seat part 38, a pair of leg bearing bases 39a, 39b respectively having leg bearing parts 43a, 43b, an inclination means to incline the medical treatment seat main body 31 and the leg bearing bases 39a, 39b around a first axial line extended horizontally, and an opening/closing means 47 to open/close the leg bearing parts 43a, 43b. Center axial lines of opening/closing action of the leg bearing parts 43a, 43b substantially or roughly coincide with axial lines of hip joints of a patient as he is seated on the medical treatment seat main body 31, so that leg bearing parts 43a, 43b are opened/closed around a center of the center axial lines.
