Abstract:
PURPOSE:To overcome a disadvantage of a prior art that abnormal vibration occurs at a relatively high frequency region and flaw detection cannot be done since this frequency region overlays a frequency region of vibration due to the flaw of a bearing. CONSTITUTION:(1) Vibration at a bearing is detected while force in a direction of a shaft 1 is applied to one of inner and outer wheels 2,4 of the bearing so as to diagnose abnormality by processing the detected signal. (2) Abnormality is diagnosed by providing a means for applying force in the direction of the shaft 1 to one of the inner and outer wheels 2,4 of the bearing, a means for detecting vibration of the bearing and a means of processing the detected signal. (3) Abnormality is diagnosed by using a low temperature liquid pump having a means for applying force in the direction of the shaft 1 to one of the inner and outer wheels 2,4 of the bearing.
