PURPOSE: To diagnose abnormality in a driving device without dismantling the device by performing a rotation test for small gear axle by a mechanism for generating a thrust force in the back and forth directions which is connected to a small gear axle yoke and analyzing a vibration by a detection means mounted outside of the driving device.
CONSTITUTION: The axle 2 of a wheel shaft mounted on a rotation test stand is supported by an axle supporting mechanism 10 and the yoke 7 of small gear axle yoke 6 is fixed, and also a rotational force is applied by the driving mechanism 9 through a pulley 8 for driving. The thrust force is transmitted to the small gear axle 5 by the thrust force generating mechanism 14 and a transmission mechanism 13, and further the reaction of thrust force is supported by a reaction supporting mechanism 15 at the end part of axle 2. Then, the device is constituted so that the vibration is detected by a vibration detector 11 and analyzed by a vibration measuring instrument 12. By this arrangement, the analysis for the device inside is made possible without dismantling the driving device and can be executed with an oil flushing jointly, therefore, the inspecting process is eliminated and also a detecting accuracy for vibration can be improved.
