PURPOSE: To reduce the size of the dial driving device by coupling an operation knob, dial display drum, and variable capacitor mutually through gears and forming a long-sized hole where a knob rotating boss shaft escapes in the dial display drum.
CONSTITUTION: A housing 21 is provided with three rotating boss shafts 21a∼ 21c. The operation knob 22 having a gear 27a is fitted to the shaft 21a. The dial display drum 23 which has an internal gear 23a and an external gear 23b is fitted to the shaft 21b, and the gears 23a engages with the gear 27a. A relay gear 24 with a gear 24a which engages with the gear 23b is provided to the shafts 21, and the variable capacitor 26 is fitted to the gear 24 through a coupling member 25. Consequently, the knob 22, drum 23, and variable capacitor 26 are coupled mutually. Further, the drum 23 has the long-sized hole 23c for the shaft 21a, so the drum 23 is arranged right above the knob 22. Thus, the size of the device is reduced.
