Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent theft and a mistake of an umbrella by constituting a dial part and a key part by cutting the handle of the umbrella in round slices, and setting a lock by entangling a chain binding an umbrella installing tool to the key part with a fixing material by passing through the inside of the dial part.
CONSTITUTION: The handle of an umbrella is divided in a round slice shape into two parts, and a dial part 1 of a dial lock is arranged on the screwing-in side of an umbrella main pole, and a key part 2 is arranged in the other. One end of a chain 3 is fixed to the key part 2, and is passed through a chain housing part in the dial part 1, and the other end is fixed to a blocking-up member 7 of an umbrella installing tool 4. A groove 6 equivalent to a width of the chain 3 is arranged in the key part 2 so as not to disturb setting of a lock. When an umbrella is stood in an umbrella stand at a going out destination, the key part 2 is removed from the dial part 1, and the chain 3 is pulled out, and is entangled with the umbrella stand, and the key part 2 is returned to the dial part l, and the lock is set. Unlocking is performed by inverse operation of this. When it is carried, a claw is installed in a position corresponding to a length of a suspending string of the chain 3, and is fitted and fixed to a claw receiving part in the groove 6 of the key part 2, and the chain 3 is formed as the suspending string.
