Title:
DIAMINE AND PREPARATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5965048
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
1. Process for the preparation of diamines, which are optionally in the form of isomer mixtures and are optionally present together with up to 35% by weight, based on the total mixture, of the corresponding perhydrogenated diamines and/or with up to 10% by weight, based on the total mixture, of the corresponding unhydrogenated diamines, and which have the general formula see diagramm : EP0105146,P5,F2 in which : R**1 and R**2 are in each case identical or different and denote hydrogen or (optionally branched) alkyl groups with 1 to 12 carbon atoms, with the proviso that at least one of the radicals R**1 and R**2 represents an alkyl radical and m and n each represents 0 or 1, with the proviso that the sum of m + n is 1, the free valency being saturated by hydrogen in the case where m or n = 0, characterised in that aromatic diamines of the formula which are optionally present in the form of isomer mixtures, are catalytically hydrogenated with the addition of 3 mol of hydrogen per mol of diamine, wherein R**1 , R**2 , m and n have the abovementioned meaning.
