The diaminobiphenyl derivative is represented by general formula (I). The electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises the same. In general formula (I), R1-R8 are the same or different and are each an optionally substituted aryl group, a linear or branched alkyl group, or a linear or branched alkoxy group; R9-R23 are the same or different and are each a halogen atom, an optionally substituted aryl group, a linear or branched alkyl group, or a linear or branched alkoxy group; a-e are each an integer of 0-4; f-i are each an integer of 0-3; j-o are each an integer of 0-5; s, t, x and y are each an integer of at least 1; provided that, when a-o are each at least 2, each of R9-R23 may be the same or different group.
