Abstract:
To provide a self-lubrication friction material that is inexpensive and shows excellent friction and abrasion properties.
The diamond-composite self-lubrication friction material is composed of a resin mixture of polytetrafluoroethylene and polyimide and fine particles of explosion-synthesized diamond with a particle size of ≤20 μm dispersed in the polymer mixture in an amount of 1-30 vol.% based on the whole of the material.
