Abstract:
To provide a self-lubrication friction material that shows excellent friction and abrasion properties and a method of producing the same.
The diamond-composite self-lubrication friction material is composed of a resin mixture of polytetrafluoroethylene and polyetheretherketone and fine particles of diamond with a particle size of ≤20 μm dispersed in the polymer mixture in an amount of 1-20 vol.% based on the whole of the material.
