Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a diamond composite having excellent properties, and to provide a super hard material manufactured by the method.
The method of manufacturing the diamond composite from diamond particles comprises processes of: forming a work piece; heating the work piece; controlling the heating temperature and heating time so that a desired amount of graphite is created by graphitization of the diamond particles and, thereby, an intermediate body is formed; and infiltrating silicon alloy into the intermediate body.
