To provide an inexpensive rotary multi-edged tool which is high in discharging property of chips when the cutting is performed by the tool having the rotary multi-blades with a plurality of diamond tips joined therewith as a cutting blade, and the discharging property is less easily degraded even when the cutting is continued.
A tip breaker 3 is formed on a diamond tip 2 forming the cutting edge. The tip breaker 3 is provided on a corner with three surfaces, i.e., a surface forming an end cutting edge 5, a surface forming an outer circumferential cutting edge 6, and a face 4 intersected with each other, and an intersection of the surface forming the end cutting edge 5 with the surface of the outer circumferential cutting edge 6 is chamfered, and a biting cutting edge 7 is provided thereon. A wall surface 3a of the tip breaker 3 is provided straight from the end cutting edge 5 to the outer circumferential cutting edge 6, and the angle A formed by the wall surface 3a and the end cutting edge 5 is set to be ≥1° to ≤45°. A rake B of ≥4° to ≤20° is provided on a face 3b of the tip breaker 3 to realize the smooth flow of chips.
