Abstract:
Provided is a diaper manufacturing method including a printing step wherein the appearance of products will not worsen in inkjet printing of patterns. The disposable diaper manufacturing method comprises a printing step of continuously printing a pattern group including a plurality of different patterns by inkjet printing on a web moving in a machine direction. In the printing step, the individual patterns of a pattern group are sequentially printed on multiple printing regions. The width of the printing regions is equal to the length of the long sides or the short sides of the diaper when spread out in a flat plane. A first blank region is disposed across the web in a crosswise direction perpendicular to the machine direction in a foremost printing region on which a pattern is printed first and/or a rearmost printing region on which a pattern is printed last in each of the individual printing regions. Inkjet printing is interrupted in the first blank region, and thereafter restarted for sequential printing of the pattern group.
