Control means 45 is configured to: perform a high-speed step driving of a diaphragm control rod 57 toward a first end via a stepping motor 53 when an initialization processing command signal is input; allow position detection means 64 and 65 to detect a position when the diaphragm control rod 57 reaches the first end and is bounded; store the detected position as a provisional origin position; after the bound, perform a slow-speed step driving of the diaphragm control rod 57 toward the first end via the stepping motor 53 while allowing the position detection means 64 and 65 to compare a current position of the diaphragm control rod 57 with the provisional origin position; and determine a position when the position of the diaphragm control rod 57 detected by the position detection means 64 and 65 comes within a predetermined range of the provisional origin position as an origin position.
