PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact diaphragm device that includes a diaphragm aperture shape similar to a circular shape by many diaphragm blades, and enables a broad operation rotation angle to minutely adjust an amount of light.SOLUTION: A diaphragm device comprises: a diaphragm operation member; a plurality of diaphragm blades that has a rotation center part and drive pin formed; a blade support member that rotatably supports the diaphragm blades with the rotation center part of each of the diaphragm blades as a rotation center; a first cum member that has a first cum groove with which the drive pin of each of the diaphragm blades is engaged; a second cum member that has a second cum groove different in a shape from the firs cum groove; and a drive force transmission member that transmits rotation drive force of the diaphragm operation member to the second cum member. At least one of the drive pins is engaged with both of the first cum groove and the second cum groove.
