PURPOSE: To improve a sound pressure frequency characteristic, and moreover, to obtain a diaphragm for an electroacoustic transducer which is excellent in a heat resistance, a moisture resistance, a dimension stability, etc., by making a full aromatic polyester fiber into an essential construction member.
CONSTITUTION: The full aromatic polyester fiber is made into the essential construction member. Namely, the fabric of such a full aromatic polyester fiber is used as a substrate for the diaphragm, and it is made into the diaphragm by being fix-molded in a prescribed shape by a known thermosetting resin such as an epoxy resin and a phenol resin or a known thermoplastic resin such as a polypropylene, a nylon and a polyacrylate resin. Thus, the diaphragm for the electroacoustic transducer can be obtained in which a Young's modulus is high, a unit area weight is small in a low density and, further, which has the internal loss of a proper largeness, and the flat sound pressure frequency characteristic can be obtained in an intermediate and high bands.
