Abstract:
PURPOSE: To cool down a built-in motor without any use of a cooling fan and suppress a noise while eliminating a wind sound due to a fan and the like, by using pump suction air for motor cooling.
CONSTITUTION: One side of the horizontal casing 1 of a diaphragm pump is opened for fitting an end cover 10. Inside of the end cover 10 is arranged a filter 33 and air is introduced from an air inlet 30 to the inside of the casing 1 via said filter 33. the constitution is so made that the air so introduced flows between the rotor 6 of a motor 4 and a core 5 and the like, and cools down the motor 4, then is sucked by a pump suction passage 27 via an air feed 3.
