Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm pump 11 which can achieve low manufacturing costs and small noise.SOLUTION: A diaphragm pump includes: a cylindrical housing body 16; a lid body 17 which closes an opening of the housing body 16; an engagement structure 21 provided in fitting parts of the housing body 16 and the lid body 17; a diaphragm 26 which is sandwiched by a diaphragm attachment part 34 of the housing body 16 and the lid body 17 to be held; a suction passage which guides air into a pump chamber 51 between the diaphragm 26 and the lid body 17; a discharge passage to which air is discharged from the pump chamber 51; and a driving mechanism 31 which converts rotation of the motor 12 into reciprocating motion to increase or decrease the capacity of the pump chamber 51. The engagement structure 21 comprises: a protruding part (a protrusion 61) which is provided protruding in one member of the housing body 16 and the lid body 17; and a wall part (a protruding wall 62) provided at the other member. The wall part overlaps with the protruding part when viewed from an axial direction of the motor 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
