Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a preferable discharge from a diaphragm pump even in a lower or higher rotating range of its camshaft.
SOLUTION: The oscillation of a cam lever 22 constituting the working member reciprocates a diaphragm to induce or discharge air thereinto or therefrom. A camshaft 23 is provided with first cams 31, second cams 32 and a coaxial part 33 which is coaxial with the camshaft 23. The cam lever 22 has a first cam follower 34 adapted to normally engage the first cams 31, a second cam follower 35 adapted, when being projected out of the first cam follower 34, to engage the second cams 32 as well as separate the first cam follower 34 from the first cams 31, and a piston 36 adapted, when being projected out of the second cam follower 35, to engage the coaxial part 33 as well as separate the first and the second cam followers from the first and the second cams, respectively.
