Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm pump that undergoes little wear and heat generation of contact portions between a driver and balls and has a long service life.SOLUTION: A drive mechanism 25 comprises a rotor 26 rotating integrally with an output shaft 4 of a motor 2, a drive shaft 27, a driver 28, and a plurality of balls 35. The drive shaft 27 has one end 27a supported on a portion of the rotor 26, which is eccentric from the output shaft 4, and is inclined at the other end 27b in a direction in which the eccentricity from the output shaft 4 becomes small. The driver 28 has a non-through hole 32 in which the other end 27b of the drive shaft 27 is rotatably fitted, and an arm part 36 connected to a reciprocating portion of a diaphragm 7. The plurality of balls 35 are interposed between the shaft end surface 34 at the other end 27b of the drive shaft 27 and the bottom face 33 of the non-through hole 32 and are arrayed in the axial direction of the drive shaft 27 while being in contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
