Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a diaphragm pump in which deterioration of a diaphragm is prevented and the pump compression ratio is increased, thereby ensuring a long service life and high performance. The diaphragm pump includes a pump head 1, a diaphragm 2 inside the pump head 1, a drive mechanism 3 connected to the diaphragm 2, and a pump chamber 4 partitioned by the diaphragm 2 inside the pump head 1. In the diaphragm 2, a peak-shaped portion 21 protruding in the thickness direction is formed at an outer peripheral portion 2b, a peripheral end portion 2c is fixed to the pump head 1, and the drive mechanism 3 is connected to a central portion 2a. When the diaphragm 2 is reciprocated in the thickness direction by the drive mechanism 3, a second inclined portion 213 on the radially inner side of an apex portion 212 of the peak-shaped portion 21 swings about the apex portion 211 serving as a fulcrum, while a first inclined portion 212 on the radially outer side of the apex portion 211 of the peak-shaped portion 21 maintains the inclined state.
