Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a diaphragm of a diaphragm pump from being damaged.
CONSTITUTION: A lower chamber 7 is of a frusto-conical shape with its small- diameter base portion 7' at the lower side. A diaphragm 3 has a corresponding frusto-conical shape. The large-diameter end portion 10 of the diaphragm 3 is connected to pump casings 1, 2. The small-diameter end portion 11 thereof is connected to a rigid central disc 12 provided at its periphery with a frusto- conical support surface 13.
