PURPOSE: To obtain the diaphragm pump prominent in assembling property by a method wherein a sound deadening chamber or the like is permitted to be connected by the incorporation of a casing, an end plate and a housing without forming any air path.
CONSTITUTION: A filter chamber 22 and the exhaust gas sound deadening chamber 32 are constituted of two-split housings 4, 4 and the end plates 10, 10 of the same shape. Respective end plates 10, 10 are attached to both ends of the pump casing to form the compression chambers 28, 28 of pumps therebetween and the housings 4, 4 are attached further to form a suction gas sound deadening chamber 24 and the exhaust gas sound deadening chamber 32 while the air path is formed by connecting respective chambers with the paths 25, 31 of a wall or the like.
