Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm for speaker capable of reducing the cost of manufacture by reducing disturbance of sound pressure frequency characteristics of high sound area including ultrahigh sound area, and to provide a speaker including it, and a method of manufacturing a diaphragm for speaker.SOLUTION: A diaphragm 30 includes a dome 32 supported vibratably on the speaker body via an edge 14, and bulging in the Z axis direction, and an annular cone 34 elongating obliquely downward from the outer peripheral edge of the dome 32 for the Z axis direction. The dome 32 and cone 34 are composed integrally of magnesium or a magnesium alloy seamlessly. The outer peripheral end of the cone 34 elongates to a substantially same position as the height P of the maximum projection position of the dome 32, and an annular step 36 for attaching a cylindrical voice coil bobbin is provided along the boundary of the dome 32 and cone 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
