Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject accumulator preventing a diaphragm from deforming and damaging caused by holding foreign matter in a slight gap between the diaphragm and a plate even when the foreign matter is mixed with the fuel.
SOLUTION: A diaphragm 86 is at its peripheral edge part 102 sealed and supported by a case 85 and a plate 101, and provided with a fixing part 104 which does not displace even when the pressure of a high-pressure chamber 71 is changed. At the slant surface 103 of the plate 101, a rectangular groove 105, wich is formed on the circumference of the plate 101, as an annularly recessed part having a rectangularly cross sectional shape is provided on the inner diameter side in the vicinity of a fixed end S which is closest to the inner diameter side of a fixed part 104 so as to house foreign matter even when the diaphragm 86 is displaced to abut on the slant surface 103 of the plate 101. The annularly recessed part may be changed to a shelf shaped recessed part.
