To stop the operation of a pump as fast as possible in the failure of the diaphragms to prevent the abrasion damage of moving element and an electromagnet and repair the pump only by replacing the diaphragm by mounting a microswitch which is operated when the needle is inclined and operated, near the moving element, and stopping the power supply to the electromagnet when this switch is operated.
The diaphragms 1 for partitioning a pump chamber 7 and a driving chamber 8 are mounted opposite to one another in an internal case 6, and a moving element 2 with a permanent magnet 3 is connected and fixed over a central portion between the diaphragms 1, 1. An electromagnet 4 is mounted on an outer periphery of the moving element 2 in the driving chamber 8. A microswitch 11 is mounted near the moving element 2 in the driving chamber 8. The microswitch 11 is operated top stop the power supply to the electromagnet 4 to automatically stop the operation of the pump when the moving element 2 continues its reciprocating motion in an inclined state when the diaphragm 1 is elastically fatigued and fractured.
