Abstract:

To provide a carburetor having a body comprising a plurality of plates facilitating the formation of various kinds of internal passages.

The body of the carburetor has end plates of the plurality of plates connected with one another, a fuel pump plate with one surface adjacent to the end plates, and a fuel metering plate. The one-side surface of the fuel metering plate is adjacent to the opposite surface of the fuel pump plate, and the opposite surface of the fuel metering plate is adjacent to a throttle valve plate. The fuel pump plate has a fuel pump diaphragm between the end plates and itself. A pressure pulse chamber communicating with an engine crank case is formed on the one side of the fuel pump diaphragm, and a fuel pump chamber is formed on the other side. The fuel metering assembly is held between the fuel pump plate and the fuel metering plate.
