Abstract:
To reduce the noise of a pump by operating a suction valve by the operation of a pump to prevent the tip of an intake valve from coming into contact with a diaphragm or a diaphragm retaining plate.
The length of the intake valve 7 projected from an intake valve retainer 8 is set short so that the tip of the intake valve 7 does not come into contact with a diaphragm retaining plate 2 when a connecting rod 3 reaches a bottom dead center. Accordingly, since the intake valve is operated while the pump is operated and impact sound is prevented from occurring by the contact of the tip of the intake valve on the diaphragm retaining plate 2, the noise of the pump can be reduced.
