Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the shelf stability of a diazo type dichromatic photosensitive material and to obtain a clear image by adding a specified naphthoquinonediazido compound and a specified amount of ZnCl2 as a stabilizer for the compound.
CONSTITUTION: A diazo type dichromatic photosensitive liq. contg. sodium 1,2- naphthoquinonediazido-4-sulfonate and ZnCl2 by 1W5 parts by wt. to 1 part by wt. of the compound is applied to a support and dried to form a photosensitive layer. The resulting photosensitive material has superior shelf stability, so a difference in color density is hardly caused between the colored parts formed by exposing and developing the material immediately after manufacture and after storage.
