EXAMPLE: 2-Chloro-12-(2-dimethylaminoethyoxy)-6H-dibenzo[b,f][1,5]-oxazoc-ine (fumarate).
USE: A psychotropic agent (especially an antidepressant) or an analgesic agent.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be prepared by reacting the compound of formula II with a halogenation agent, and condensing the resultant compound of formula III (X is halogen) with the compound of formula IV (Q is OH or OM; M is alkali metal).
