Abstract:
To provide a die cast machine adapted to inhibit a temperature rise of a pressure-reducing valve and a combustion of a lubricant.SOLUTION: A die cast machine 1 comprises: a mold 11; an injection unit 12 that has a sleeve 21 having a sleeve body 21a and a pouring gate 21b for supplying molten metal to the sleeve body 21a and a plunger tip 22 for pushing the molten metal within the sleeve body 21a; a pressure-reducing unit 13 that has a pressure-reducing valve 31 arranged downstream of the mold 11 and a first cooling unit 32 for cooling air passing through the pressure-reducing valve 31; and a lubricant recovery unit 14 that has a lubricant recovery container 41 into which air and lubricant flow downstream of the pressure-reducing unit 13, a trap unit 42 for trapping lubricant, and a second cooling unit 43 for cooling the lubricant. The sleeve 21 has an air introducing port 21c capable of introducing heating air into the sleeve body 21a closer to the mold 11 than the pouring gate 21b, so as to introduce heating air from the air introducing port 21c in a state the pouring gate 21b is closed by the plunger tip 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
