Abstract:
To provide a die cast article capable of being reduced in weight while securing the required rigidity.SOLUTION: A die cast article 1 according to the present invention has a thin-walled portion 2 in at least one part thereof, in which thin-walled portion 2 salients 5 protruding on one face/back side thereof and recesses 6 protruding reverse in face-back to the convex 5 are provided. The multiple salients 5 and recesses 6 are arranged in predetermined patterns 11-13 such that vertical wall portions 7 extending vertically of the convex 5 and vertical wall portions 9 extending vertically of the concave 6 appear on an arbitrary virtual cross section traversing the thin-walled portion 2 in a face-back direction thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
