Abstract:
PURPOSE: To uniformly heat the inside and outside of a raw material used in the die casting forming of a solid-liquid coexisting metal without generating the coarsening of solid-phase grains and surface oxidation, etc.
CONSTITUTION: In a die casting forming method for forming the raw material by injecting it into an inner cavity through a runner in a die for die casting after heating the material to the solid-liquid coexisting range, the raw material is heated at 0.05-0.5°C/s heating speed from the room temp. to solids temp. and at 1-10°C/s heating speed in the solidus temp. or lower.
