To provide a die casting method which can prevent the phenomenon that a burr is made into a state of being bitten on a part of a casting surface.
When a die-casting die lies in an opening state which is the time after an opening stage and also before a closing stage, a pin detaching stage is performed. In the pin detaching stage, a cylinder is driven, thus a movable core 30 and a pin 31 for a hole as cast are moved, so as to be passed through a movable through-hole 20b. Next, the parts of a movable die 20 and a fixed die defining a cavity and the pin 31 for a hole as cast in a state of being passed through the through-hole 20b are coated with a release agent by spraying. Then, the cylinder is driven, thus the movable core 30 and the pin 31 for a hole as cast are moved, and the pin 31 for a hole as cast is pulled out from the movable through-hole 20b.
