The die coater nozzle 302 coats coating liquid on the rear face of the horizontally advancing sheet-like material in a non-contact manner by sucking up the coating liquid by a capillary phenomenon into the nozzle slot of a long cross section of the die coater 301, discharging the coating liquid from the nozzle upper slot part to coat the coating liquid on the rear face of the sheet-like material in a non-contact manner. The tip of the nozzle is formed to have a slot width of 0.5-50 m, the upper shape of the slot side wall of the nozzle is a side wall 302a presenting a circular-arc section of 5R-15R in the advancing direction of the sheet-like material, presenting a form of a side wall 302c having a tilted section tilted by 5-35 with respect to the horizontal direction in the advancing direction of the sheet-like material having passed the upper part of a slot part 302b, and the nozzle has a level difference of 0.02-0.06 mm between the end height b of the side wall presenting a circular-arc section and the tilt starting part height c of the side wall having the tilted section.
