Abstract:
To provide a metal mold cooling structure in a hot press which can be manufactured at a low cost, can cool a metal mold effectively and can be easily maintained.SOLUTION: A plurality of cavities 2 for cooling water are provided on a metal mold in a casting process, the cavities are communicated with each other by cooling water holes 7, an opening of each cavity for cooling water is provided on an external surface on a side opposite to a processing surface of the metal mold, and an airtight lid is detachably attached to the opening. Cooling water is sent in from the cavity at one end of a group of cavities and is drained the cavity at the other end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
