To efficiently conduct a setting work of appropriate arrangement positions of ejector pins by discriminating arrangement positions of the ejector pins to eject/release a formed part when opening a die of a fixed side die forming the outer shape of the formed part and a moving side die.
Three dimensional data of a forming part prepared by a three dimensional CAD device is read out from a storage device. Next, a specific gravity as a physical property value of a forming part, a gravity direction acting to the forming part and an ejection direction of a moving die when a die is mounted to a vertical forming machine are inputted. Next, an allowable value of a difference between the maximum and minimum values of the load acting to whole ejection pins are inputted. Next, arrangement positions of the ejector pins are decided, the loads acting to respective ejection pins are calculated, it is discriminated whether the maximum and minimum values of the load are within the allowable value or not. In the case of outside the allowable value, the arrangement positions of respective pins are reset, the formed part is stably taken out in die opening.
