PURPOSE: To obtain a formed product without casting blow hole by using good gas ventilation in a cavity and to prevent the development of misrun of molten metal and the flow-out of the molten metal to the outer part of a die.
CONSTITUTION: The cavity 24 is demarcated with a first - a sixth dies 12-22. These dies 12-22 are arranged so that cylinder bore forming parts 26a-26d form in the perpendicular direction and a series at the time of forming. Long sprue runners 30a, 30b are extended in the perpendicular direction from the lower part at both sides of the cavity 24 to near the center, and sprue gates 32a, 32b are demarcated along the longitudinal direction of the sprue runners 30a, 30b and communicated with the cavity 24. Gas venting runners 36a, 36b are demarcated by dividing the first die 12 and the sixth die 22 into plural pieces and one end parts of the gas venting runners 36a, 36b are directly on the parting line in the cavity 24 and also, communicated with gas venting runners 36c, 36d, chamber 40 demarcated with the second die 14 and valve 42.
