PURPOSE: To obtain a die that is easily manufactured with high precision to be economical, low in the extruding pressure thereby eliminating the generation of the deflection or crack of the male die, etc., at the time of extrusion, and capable of the high dimensional precision at the time of its manufacture for a long period.

CONSTITUTION: The main body of the die consisting of a male die 31 and a female die 41 is assembled in the through-hole 61 of a die holder 60; the male die 31 is nearly of a square plate shape in the appearance with a projecting part formed in the center of one end face and also with a plate-shaped fitting part formed between the side faces on both sides of the projecting part. The female die 41 is provided with a cavity for the projecting part to be inserted in the center of one end face, and a recessed groove for the fitting part to engage with is formed on both sides of the cavity of the female die ; the main body of the die is inserted into the through-hole, and a flow passage 70 to communicate with the inside of the cavity is formed between both sides of the male die and the inside wall face of the throughhole; and the die holder 60 is provided with a pressure receiving plate 65, which extends along the male die through the space, in a position oppositely facing the other end face of the male die 31 across the through-hole 61.
