PURPOSE: To prevent a camber from being generated on a metallic gasket by formation of a bead by providing each deformation preventing part on the base plate part of each narrow bead-free die part other than each beaded die part.

CONSTITUTION: A deformation preventing part 38 rising and inclining from a projecting part 16 toward the edge 12e of the base plate surface is installed on the base plate surface 12b of a narrow bead-free die part of a male die 8. On the other hand, a deformation preventing part 40 rising and inclining from an opening part 18 toward the edge 14e of the base plate surface is installed on the base plate surface 14b of a narrow bead-free die part of a female die 10. Consequently, a narrow bead-free site 36 on the side other than beaded site 32 of a metallic original plate 24 can be prevented from being uneven, deformed and inclined.
