PURPOSE: To efficiently form a sensitive drum, etc., without buffing or surface machining an extruding pipe by regulating a bearing length of an extruding die within a range of 5W10mm.
CONSTITUTION: The die whose bearing length of the extruding die is regulated within the range of 5W10mm is used and an aluminium extrusion pipe 2 is extruded by an extruder 1 and cooled. A bent part 3a is formed on an end part of a pipe 3 having a specified length which is cut from the pipe 2 into the specified length and washed. This is immediately worked by ironing without buffing or surface machining and made as a worked pipe 4 by ironing, after cutting the bent part 3a, it is washed and formed into the sensitive drum, etc. By this method by regulating the bearing length to 5W10mm, the extruded aluminum pipe is made excellent in smoothness having no die mark, the sensitive drum material 5 is formed without buffing, etc.
