To provide a die for manufacturing a fin for a heat exchanger capable of reliably separating a collar formed in a metallic plate from a tapered surface of a tapered punch and drawing the collar from a tapered die during the die opening between an upper die having the tapered die and a lower die having the tapered punch.
The die for manufacturing the fin for the heat exchanger comprises a tapered punch 58 provided on a lower die 50 for burring a circumferential edge of a punched hole 82 of a plate 80, a tapered die 12 provided on an upper die 10, and a knockout 16 for pushing out the collar formed in the tapered die 12 during the die opening. A recessed groove 22 is formed at the predetermined position of an inner circumferential surface of the tapered die corresponding to a fore end part of the collar so that an outwardly projecting part is formed on an outer circumferential surface side of the fore end part of the collar of a predetermined height formed by performing the burring and spreading.
