To provide a die preheating device which can secure directive coagulability by heating a plan part at a higher temperature than other parts.
The die preheating device 10 is arranged between an upper die 101 and a lower die 102 of a die 100 and preheats the upper die 101 and the lower die 102 before casting. The die preheating device 10 includes a circumferential heating part 11 and a central heating part 12. In the circumferential heating part 11, a part overlapping with a sprue runner 104 is opened, and a heating surface 16 is provided on an inner circumferential side face of the circumferential heating part 11. The heating surface 16 includes a metal plate and a metal knit. The metal plate has a plurality of holes formed, and the metal knit is provided on the surface of the metal plate. The central heating part 12 is a box and is arranged on the center of the circumferential heating part 11. The central heating part 12 has heating surfaces 17 and 18 provided on the upper side and the lower side. A metal plate 17A of the heating surface 17 on the upper side has more holes 17B formed than a metal plate 18A of the heating surface 18 on the lower side.
