To provide a die unit for progressive working with which, in switching, the distal end position of a hoop material can be easily adjusted in a short period of time.
The die unit comprises a pair of dies 13, wherein a die 13a of the dies 13 is equipped with: a piercing die 17; a plurality of dies 19; and holes 18 for pilot pin insertion, and wherein a die 13b of the dies 13 is equipped with: a stripper plate 23 for pressurizing and holding a workpiece 9 mounted on the die 13a; a piercing punch 27 passed through the stripper plate 23 and inserted into the piercing die 17, thus forming a pilot hole 12 for positioning at the workpiece 9; a plurality of punches 29 inserted into the plurality of dies 19, thus working the workpiece 9; and pilot pins 28 inserted into the holes 18 for pilot pin insertion, thus positioning the workpiece 9, and the die unit performs working while intermittently feeding the workpiece 9 at fixed intervals. One end of the pilot pin 28 is movably supported by the other die 13b.
