Abstract:
To obtain a die taking advantage of good castability and maintenance of a die having an aluminum/copper containing zinc alloy for a base material and having wear resistance for a cutting edge and a bending part having high hardness required for a press die.
In an aluminum/copper containing zinc alloy base metal die, overlaying is applied to sections 7, 8 to be a cutting edge and sections 2a, 5a to be a bending part. When conducting overlaying, a copper alloy is used for underlaying, and a nickel alloy is used for overlaying. The copper alloy preferably contain Mn, Si, and the nickel alloy preferably contains B, Si.
