To provide a dielectric porcelain composition for high-frequencies used in a dielectric resonator for the high-frequencies, having an r of ≤15, a Q at 10 GHz of ≥1,000, and a resonance frequency temperature characteristic (τf) of ±15 ppm/°C; and to provide an electronic component and a communication apparatus using the same.
The dielectric porcelain composition for high-frequencies comprises forsterite (Mg2SiO4), calcium titanate (CaTiO3), strontium titanate (SrTiO3) and magnesium titanate (MgTiO3), wherein the component ratios satisfy the conditions: 65 wt.%≤Mg2SiO4≤87.5 wt.%, 5 wt.%≤(CaTiO3+SrTiO3)≤15 wt.% and 2.5 wt.%≤MgTiO3≤20 wt.%, and the weight ratio of CaTiO3 to the total of CaTiO3 and SrTiO3 satisfies the condition of 0.25≤{CaTiO3/(CaTiO3+SrTiO3)}≤0.63.
